Mini Midland Marvel

A good friend had an almost finished Midland Railway 10t Brakevan sat on the club layout for many months. On one of my rare visits to the club I somehow ended up with it to finish off!
The model, in EM (4mm Scale), was built from the Slaters kit and running on Gibson wheels. Although painted and transfered up, it had become slightly tatty from hanging around on a under construction layout, so I decided to begin by giving it a repaint.
The model was brush painted, the body in a 'neutral grey' and the chassis picked out in matt black. Wooden flooring uses Humbrol 'natural wood'. The entire model was then varnished before transfers could be applied. I couldn't mask off or remove the glazing on this so it's ended up misty, I'll just claim its mucky!
Till next time.
